CLUB HISTORY

Christos has played for the Olympic Flame Soccer Club loyally for their competitive 1st teams from U8 to U18 at the highest possible district/league levels in the Ontario Soccer Association. Christos has also been called up and played up 2 age levels for his Club on numerous occasions.


Christos was also selected to play for the city’s Elite Scarborough City District Team from U13 to U14 (The District Program was offered to elite level Scarborough players due to the absence of an OPDL club in the region).

Christos currently plays for the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada.

 

At the club level, he plays for the Toronto Academy u21 Olympiacos FC team in the Ontario Provincial League. Olympiacos FC s the most successful Greek professional football club in history. 

For the last two years Christos has also made several Canadian National Championship appearances representing the Province of Prince Edward Island for the Charlottetown Winsloe Royals.


Christos was Captain/co-Captain for 9 consecutive years and assisted his Club and school Teams to 22 Championships/Finalists/Semi-Finalist wins, and awarded multiple team/season MVP and tournament MVP titles.

SCHOOL HISTORY

In his first year in high school, Christos helped his Toronto Catholic District School Board Jr. team to a historic undefeated season and playoff season to win the city Jr. championships (Jr. teams do not play in provincial playoff).

 

The following year Christos switched schools to Senator O'Connor helping their Jr. Team go from a previous win-less season to a season where they went deep into the playoffs. Christos is also the only Jr. student to play on both the Varsity and Sr. Teams and was awarded the 2019 season MVP award.

As a senior, Christos moved from Ontario to PEI (the Province of Prince Edward Island) and co-captained his team to another Provincial Championship and was awarded "Provincial Senior AAA Allstar". 

Christos also gives back to the community and the sport that he loves. He has logged over 200 hours of volunteer time training younger competitive players at several clubs, and camps. He currently teaches and coaches soccer as part of the SHSM Sector Sports Program as part of the Specialist High Skills Major Program.


 

TODAY

Christos currently plays in Prince Edward Island, Canada for the University of Prince Edward Island as well as the Charlottetown Winsloe Men's Club Nationals Team.
